This activity is immensely popular and is attracting more and more children everyday. National Bal Bhavan has the latest computers to aid basic and advanced computer learning. Experts are often invited from software companies to closely interact with children on issues related to the information technology industry and developments surrounding it. Children are also encouraged to develop their own projects and are sent to various sites like the meteorological department, hotels, banks etc. to see how computers help in managing work in these places. The computer section has internet facility, multimedia projector and scanners for showing films and helping with exhibitions. Bal Bhavan also provides information related to internet, with the aim of keeping children abreast with the latest technologies. Added attractions in the section are the many meaningful and innovative workshops and symposia on computers that are organized from time to time. National Bal Bhavan has also supplied computers to some State Bal Bhavans so they too can initiate computer related activities. Special short-term courses are also organized for adults.
